Filming on snow is always a challenge - you are constantly battling wind, snow and ice with both yourself and your gear. It’s a constant fight to keep both batteries and fingers warm. On snow filming is something that the entire team has been exposed too, carrying your own gear in and out of remote locations to get footage that most just wouldn’t bother getting. It truly is a pain in the ass. Plastic bags over lenses make focusing hard, the glare off the snow on a sunny day makes any screen just about useless, and in a split second the weather can change, socking you in or delivering what seems like an entire years worth of snow in 30 seconds.

Having said this, we wouldn’t have it any other way. If it was any easier, everyone would be doing it.
